The Taiwan International Democratic Film Festival (TIDFF) is organised by the New School for Democracy Association.
The festival uses the moving image as a vehicle for democratic civic education. Working nomadically — touring screenings paired with talks, reaching beyond the divides of city and countryside, wealth and poverty — it looks to film to help audiences discover, see and understand the state of democracy and human rights across the world’s regions.
The festival’s programme notes for each year are published in Chinese. Follow the festival on Facebook for screening announcements.
