Taiwanese artists have arrived in Denmark, and our collaborative creation and exchange have officially begun!
Today, we visited Gallery Galschiøt, the studio of artist Jens Galschiøt, to see the creative space where we will be working and to exchange ideas and initial concepts with Jens Galschiøt and his team. The College also prepared small gifts from Taiwan for Jens Galschiøt and the studio team as a gesture of our appreciation and our commitment to this collaboration.
Over the next eleven days, participants will draw on their own life experiences and professional practices, using sculpture, theatre, music, illustration, animation, social research, civic advocacy, and other forms of expression to present and explore our understanding of “Taiwan” in Denmark.
Through exchanges across cultures and creative practices, we hope to explore how art can serve as a means of practising freedom, fostering dialogue, and deepening mutual understanding.
On September 10, we will hold a presentation and sharing of the works in Odense, Denmark. Friends across the Nordic region are warmly invited to join us.
