A Camp Unknown

After the Vietnam War, thousands of refugees drifted at sea. Between 1977 and 1988 the Chiang-mei refugee camp in Penghu took in more than two thousand Vietnamese refugees — a chapter of Taiwan's participation in international humanitarian relief that almost no one knows.

Director Liu Chien-wei visits the former camp and the people who lived through it, reconstructing this "camp unknown" and asking where those people went afterwards.
